About the group
Built in Port Harcourt, but GLOBAL in service.
LESAM International Group Limited is a Nigerian holding company with two operating subsidiaries: LeSam Haven Logistics Limited, which serves oil and gas operators from Port Harcourt and Rivers State into the Niger Delta, Nigeria, Africa and globally, and Lesam Global Apartments Limited, which runs LeSam Hotels and Suites in GRA Phase 2.
The two businesses look different from the outside, but they answer the same brief: people working in this region need partners and places they can depend on. A truck that arrives when the rig needs it. A room that is ready when the flight lands late. We measure ourselves on that reliability, not on brochures.

Group Managing Director
Chief Dr Sam Anya Akaekpuchionwa
Businessman · Philanthropist · Politician
Chief Dr Sam Anya Akaekpuchionwa is the Group Managing Director of LESAM International Group Limited, leading both operating arms of the group — LeSam Haven Logistics Limited and Lesam Global Apartments Limited — from the head office in GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt.
In August 2024 he was sworn in by Governor Siminalayi Fubara as Commissioner in the Rivers State Ministry of Special Duties, an appointment widely welcomed by youth and civic groups across the state. In public life he is best known for his work on inclusion: he coordinates the Non-Indigenes Simplified Movement in Rivers State, which advocates for residents who have made Rivers their home, and he founded the Akaekpuchionwa Movement, a grassroots platform for community empowerment.
A businessman and philanthropist of Ohafia extraction, he has built his enterprises around the same conviction that shapes his public service: that people working and living in the Niger Delta deserve partners and institutions they can depend on. That standard — dependable service, careful growth, and respect for the communities the group operates in — is the one LESAM is measured by.
Reliability first
Systems over promises. Haven Logistics tracks every dispatched truck and rental unit; the hotel holds every booked room and answers the desk around the clock.
Local depth
We know the roads, the jetties, the permits and the people — the same local knowledge that routes a low-bed through the Delta gets a late-landing guest into a made-up room.
Careful growth
We add capacity — trucks, rental plant, rooms — only when we can maintain the standard across both the logistics arm and the hotel.
